I darned a sock and made red lentil coconut soup before sitting down to write this.
While looking for a fresh jar of curry I straightened out the pantry.
I swept up some onion skins and took out the compost.
That’s how much I wanted to write this. That’s how much I wanted to look back.
“Write something,” she’d said, “Something relevant.”
But relevant to what? There’s so much to consider.
