I got all your messages and loved every one. is the title of a public art installation created by Julia Kidd in 2013.  Intimate messages appeared as signs in eleven iconic locations around the island of Martha's Vineyard. The signs were installed for only two weeks; however, the piece took over a year to develop. The process involved the enrollment of many landowners and town officials to gain permission to use both public and private land. 

Kidd says about the project, "The idea to create this piece came after receiving messages from a long-ago friend via social media. The words were so healing, so kind and loving, I was taken by their power, I thought, “who wouldn’t appreciate hearing words like these?” 

Kidd placed the signs in locations accessible to everyone, along the road, in the library, in the cafeteria of the high school and projected on the screen of the local movie theater. She wanted people to come upon them unexpectedly. The messages come alive in the interaction between the beauty the world offers us and people going about their daily lives.
